Camera-ready Abstract and Full Paper Submission

Please submit your camera-ready abstracts and full papers as a single PDF file via EasyChair. Authors have to adhere to our formatting instructions which are implemented in the following template files:

Abstracts: LaTeX (example) Microsoft Word
Full papers: LaTeX (example) Microsoft Word

Note that also abstract submissions need to be submitted as PDF files. Please ensure that the title of your contribution is properly formatted in title case (see formatting instructions).


Poster submission

Poster abstracts are limited to 500 words and can be submitted using EasyChair under "Poster" category following the format of oral presentation abstracts; poster abstracts will not be published. Prizes will be awarded for the best student or postdoctorial poster presentations based on content as well as presentation style. Poster size is limited to 115 x 170 cm (width x height).


Abstract and Full Paper Submission (CLOSED)

Full papers have an 8 page maximum length, while abstracts are limited to 500 words. Please follow our formatting instructions which are implemented in the following LaTeX and Microsoft Word style files. You can download an example LaTeX folder here.

The ALIFE XII submission process is handled by EasyChair – go here to the submission site.

Every submission will be subject to full peer review. No distinction is made between the two submission formats.

Submission of Satellite Event and Constributed Session Applications (CLOSED)

For contributed sessions, please submit a maximum half page application including a short abstract describing the session topic/theme, a potential list of speakers, and the estimated number of participants. Please send your application via email to events@alifexii.org no later than January 8, 2010. Organizers will be informed about the acceptance/rejection as well as event date and time by January 15, 2010. Since the actual composition of speakers in part depends of the peer review process the Organizing Committee with assist the session organizers to assemble the best possible session.

Applications for satellite events (1-page max) must include an abstract describing the workshop idea, a tentative list of speakers, a preferred time slot (date and time) as well as the projected size of the event (number of people attending). Please send your application via email to events@alifexii.org no later than January 8, 2010. Satellite workshop organizers will be informed about the acceptance/rejection as well as event date and time by January 15, 2010.
